Prevention of Disease Courses

Klimes Institute offers a comprehensive series of continuing education courses in Prevention of Disease for nurses and healthcare professionals. Prevention is at the heart of good patient care and this series gives you the practical knowledge and tools to reduce harm, promote health, and make a real difference in the lives of your patients and community.

Our Prevention of Disease series covers a wide range of preventive care topics: from medical and medication errors to sexual harassment prevention, anger management, global health, disease prevention, hand hygiene, nutrition, and stress relief. Courses are available individually at 3 CE hours each, or as a complete 30-hour mastery course.

All courses are available online 24/7. Study at your own pace, take the self-correcting exam, and print your CE certificate immediately upon passing. A score of 75% or higher is required to pass.

3-Hour Courses: $21 each Ten individual modules covering medical errors, medication safety, sexual harassment prevention, anger management, global mortality, disease prevention, hand hygiene, preventive ethics, nutrition, and stress relief.

30-Hour Mastery Course: $63. Enroll in P01: Prevention of Disease and gain access to all ten modules plus a comprehensive 60-question mastery exam.
